The leveler half of the patented Proleveling System — and it spaces your tile too. Each linear base carries a threaded stem that a cap hand-tightens onto, pulling adjoining tiles flush with no tensioning tool at all. Notched for clean, consistent joints in 1, 2, 3, and 5 mm. 100 per bag.

More Details

Linear leveling bases for the patented Progress Profiles Proleveling System — the leveler that doubles as a spacer. Each base carries a central threaded stem; a reusable cap tightens down on it to pull adjoining tiles into plane. Verified specs from Progress Profiles:

  • Bag size: 100 linear bases
  • Joint sizes: 1 mm (1/16"), 2 mm (3/32"), 3 mm (1/8"), and 5 mm (3/16")
  • Design: Notched linear base with a central threaded stem, perpendicular to the base
  • Doubles as a spacer: The notched base sets the joint — no separate spacers needed
  • No tensioning tool: The cap is hand-tightened — no pliers or gun required
  • Tile thickness: Levels material from 2 mm (3/32") up to 40 mm (1-5/8")
  • Removal: Strategically placed snap-off points on the stem — kick or tap the cap in the direction of the joint once the tile has set
  • Single-use: The base and stem break away and are consumed; the cap is reused
  • Requires: Proleveling tensioning caps (sold separately)
  • Use on: Floors and walls, interior and exterior — porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, large-format tile, and thin-profile material

Progress Profiles Proleveling System Linear Bases — Level and Space in One Move, No Tool Required

Most leveling systems make you carry two things and buy a third: spacers for the joint, clips for the lippage, and a tensioning tool to pull it all tight. The Proleveling System collapses that. Each linear base is notched to set the joint like a spacer and carries a threaded stem that a cap hand-tightens onto — pulling adjoining tiles perfectly flush with nothing but your hands. No pliers. No gun. No third product.

Slide the base under two adjoining tiles, thread on a tensioning cap, and turn it down until the surfaces sit in plane. The system levels material from 2 mm (3/32") all the way up to 40 mm (1-5/8"), so it handles thin-profile porcelain and thick stone alike, and the bases come in four joint sizes — 1, 2, 3, and 5 mm — to match the grout line you're after. Once the thinset has set, kick or tap the cap in the direction of the joint and the stem releases at its engineered snap-off point, leaving the base buried and your surface flat. Setting delicate marble, polished porcelain, or natural stone? Add a Red Protection Cup under each cap so the rotating action never touches the finish.

Why Tile Pros Choose It

  • Spacer and leveler in one: The notched base sets the joint — no separate spacers
  • No tensioning tool: Caps hand-tighten; leave the pliers in the truck
  • Kills lippage: Pulls adjoining tiles into plane and holds them while the thinset cures
  • Huge thickness range: 2 mm (3/32") to 40 mm (1-5/8") material
  • Four joint sizes: 1, 2, 3, and 5 mm for the grout line you want
  • Clean break: Engineered snap-off points release with a kick or a tap
  • Floors and walls: Interior and exterior, large-format to thin-profile
  • One less thing to lose on the jobsite: The tensioning tool you don't own can't go missing

Pro tip: Match the base size to your grout joint and set the base before you place the second tile so it seats fully under both edges. Wait for a proper set before breaking the stems — and always kick or tap in the direction of the joint, never across it, so the break stays clean.
