FloFX NoFlo Pipe Seal — Close the Penetration Before It Leaks

Corners get the blame, but penetrations are the other place showers leak. Every pipe that pokes through your waterproofing — the shower arm, valve supply lines — is a direct path for water to track behind the membrane if it isn't sealed. The FloFX NoFlo Pipe Seal closes that path. It's a pre-formed collar, roughly 6" square, with a gasketed center that fits snug around the pipe.

Slip it over the pipe and bond it into the membrane the same way as everything else in the system — thinset with full mortar transfer, lapped into the surrounding NoFlo membrane — and the gasket grips the pipe while the fabric ties into the waterproofing. The penetration goes from your biggest small worry to a sealed, watertight detail.

Pro tip: Lap the field membrane over the seal's flange — seal under, field over — so water sheds onto the lap, and work the thinset for full transfer with no voids around the pipe. Make sure the gasket seats tight to the pipe before you tile.
