Some tools become the benchmark, and then they evolve. The Masterpiuma P5 Italica is Montolit's deeply rethought take on its most iconic manual cutter, created to mark the company's 80th anniversary — not a cosmetic refresh, but a re-engineered machine built for today's larger, harder, more complex ceramic formats. The historic Technology Blue & Passion Red colorway makes it instantly recognizable as a nod to Montolit's Italian heritage.
At its core is a new monolithic base, formed from a single mould, that increases rigidity and stability during cutting while cutting roughly 2 kg of overall weight. The range grows with new 81 cm and 101 cm models — the 101 adds rear wheels for easier movement — and a new 17 cm front stopping system gives you better support on repetitive cuts. On the 131 and 161 models, an integrated counter-square sharpens control of cutting length at both ends of the tile, the ATLAS support system is built right into the structure, and a movable, USB-C rechargeable laser pointer comes standard, sliding along the machine to improve visibility on large-format tiles.
It builds on the proven Masterpiuma P5 platform. When it lands, keep it cutting true with the Italica scoring handle assemblies (501P5IT / 502P5IT) and add the Cutlinea laser on models where it isn't already standard.
Pro tip: If you run large-format panels, the built-in ATLAS support and sliding laser are the features to plan around — they turn a two-person panel score into a controlled one-person job. Watch this page for availability. (Coming soon — specs per Montolit's official Italica announcement.)
