Saw-quality cuts on big porcelain panels — no saw, no water, no dust. The Montolit Flash Line FL3 is a modular rail system that scores and snaps gauged porcelain slabs up to 134" (340 cm) long and 3/8" (1 cm) thick. Three lightweight aluminum rails lock together and grip the slab with a patented no-slip base — no suction cups needed — while the rotating 3WD head lets you pick the right titanium wheel for any surface.

More Details

A modular, manual rail cutting system for scoring and snapping gauged porcelain panels up to 340 cm. Made in Italy.

  • Capacity: Scores and snaps slabs from 0 to 134" (340 cm) long, up to 3/8" (1 cm) thick (extendable with added rails)
  • 3WD head: Rotating head carries three titanium wheels — 8 mm (240T) for smooth/delicate surfaces, 12 mm (241T) for standard porcelain and ceramic, 20 mm (242T-FLT) for structured, textured, and very hard slabs
  • Grip: Patented no-slip base (silicone strips) holds the rails on the slab — no suction cups or clamps required; grip increases with carriage pressure
  • Carriage: Die-cast aluminum slider rides the rail on three anti-friction wheels; ergonomic handle for controlled pressure; integrated lubrication
  • Breaking: Supplied separating pliers with a double splitting system for clean snaps
  • Not for: Thick or standard field tile — for that, use a Masterpiuma cutter
  • Portability: Lightweight; assembles and breaks down fast into the included carrying bag

Montolit Flash Line Evolution 3 — Saw-Quality Cuts on Big Porcelain Panels, No Saw Required

Gauged porcelain slabs are the material that sends crews looking for a rail saw, a water hookup, and a plan for the mess. The Flash Line FL3 does the job by hand and bone dry: a modular aluminum rail system that scores and snaps panels up to 134" (340 cm) long and 3/8" (1 cm) thick — no saw, no water, no dust, no cleanup, and nothing to plug in.

Three lightweight rails lock together and grip the slab with a patented no-slip silicone base — no suction cups, no clamps — and the grip actually increases as you lean into the carriage. The rotating 3WD head carries three titanium wheels so you can match the score to the surface, while the die-cast aluminum carriage glides on anti-friction wheels with integrated lubrication. Supplied separating pliers snap the panel clean, and the whole system breaks down fast into its included carry bag. For thick or standard field tile, reach for a Masterpiuma P5 instead, and set big panels on a Table-One work table for a stable surface.

Why Tile Pros Choose It

  • Big-panel capacity: Scores and snaps slabs up to 134" (340 cm) long and 3/8" (1 cm) thick
  • No saw, no water, no dust: Dry scoring that's clean enough for finished and occupied spaces
  • Patented no-slip base: Silicone grip holds the rails on the slab — no suction cups or clamps
  • 3WD head: Three titanium wheels (8 mm, 12 mm, 20 mm) match the score to any surface
  • Smooth carriage: Die-cast slider on anti-friction wheels with integrated lubrication
  • Clean snaps: Supplied separating pliers with a double splitting system
  • Packs up fast: Lightweight; assembles and breaks down into the included bag
  • The one "wet saw" that isn't: Leaves the jobsite drier than you found it

Pro tip: Match the wheel to the surface — 8 mm for polished and delicate, 12 mm for standard porcelain, 20 mm for structured or very hard slabs. One smooth, confident scoring pass breaks far better than scoring twice, and a quick check that the rails are seated flat saves you a wandering line.
