Usage Tip:

Install the VaporTec XPS shower curb on a level base, making sure to achieve full coverage when bonding to the subfloor, adjacent walls and shower pan. Use a compatible modified thin­set to bond the curb to the subfloor, walls and pan. Field-cut curbs cleanly with a utility knife or chop saw, and clamp securely until set. Inspect the joint between curb and pan, and reinforce or seal per the shower waterproofing system manufacturers requirements.

If the installation includes multiple curb units joined together, apply a compatible sealant such as VaporTech Sealant or Ardex TLT 700 Sealant or membrane tape at the joint to maintain waterproof continuity.

  • Purpose-built sizes: Available in multiple standard lengths (e.g., 4.5″ × 3″ cross-section with 48″, 60″ or 72″ lengths) to match common shower curb dimensions and reduce field-modification time.
