Lippage is the difference between a floor that looks hand-laid and one that looks dialed-in — and on today's big, flat tile, even a slight edge mismatch catches light and feet. The Rubi DELTA 3/16" clips set your grout joint at 3/16" (5 mm) and, paired with DELTA reusable wedges, pull adjacent tiles into the same plane and hold them there while the adhesive cures. Set them as you go and you lock in a flat, lippage-free surface.
The clip seats under the tile edges and sets the joint; the wedge drives in and applies the pressure. These clips handle tile from 1/8" to 1/2" (3–13 mm) thick and are best for large-format porcelain and standard ceramic tile. Once the thinset sets, the clip snaps off cleanly at the base — no chipped edges, no cleanup headache — and you reuse the wedges on the next job. Tension by hand or, for speed and consistency, with the DELTA pliers.
Pro tip: Bed the tile fully before you set the clip, then tension just until the faces pull flush — over-cranking can squeeze mortar and float the tile proud. Knock the clips off parallel to the joint once cured so you snap them below the surface, not toward the tile edge.
