The fast way to seal every board seam. This self-adhesive TRIBOARD joint tape covers the butt joints between panels so the uncoupling and impact-sound layer stays continuous — and bedding mortar can't sneak into the seams and create a sound bridge. 1-1/2" wide, 98.4 ft roll, peel-and-stick.

Blanke TRIBOARD Self-Adhesive Joint Tape — Seal Every Seam, Fast

Every seam between two TRIBOARD panels is two things at once: a break in the continuous uncoupling layer, and an opening where bedding mortar can drop into the joint and touch the substrate — a sound bridge that quietly hands footfall noise back to the floor below. This self-adhesive joint tape closes both problems in one pass.

Peel it, stick it down the board-to-board butt joints, and the uncoupling and impact-sound layer stays continuous across the whole field — with no gaps for mortar to bridge through. Being self-adhesive, it goes down fast and clean over the long straight seams, no adhesive to spread. At 1-1/2" wide and 98.4 ft per roll, one roll covers a lot of seams.

It's the field-seam half of the TRIBOARD accessory system: use it over the TRIBOARD board seams, then handle the perimeter with the corner joint tape and the pre-formed corners.

Why Tile Pros Choose It

  • Seals board seams: Keeps the uncoupling layer continuous
  • Blocks sound bridges: No mortar dropping into the joints
  • Self-adhesive: Fast, clean peel-and-stick
  • 1-1/2" × 98.4 ft: A lot of seams per roll
  • Part of the system: Works with the board, corner tape, and corners
  • Cheap insurance for an expensive quiet floor: Skip it and the seams leak sound

Pro tip: Press the tape down firmly along the full length of each seam so it's fully bonded before you trowel adhesive over it — a lifted edge lets mortar under the tape, which is exactly the bridge you're trying to prevent.
